A guide to choosing the correct label part

The best way to correctly identify the label part number that you require is to measure the labelling area of the equipment you wish to label. Then compare your measurements to the label sizes in the charts in this brochure or our website, and choose the appropriate label part. If you can not see a label the correct size please call us on +44 8451 300016 and we will be happy to advise you.

We have compiled a chart below to help you with choosing labels for standard equipment where we know which of our label parts will be suitable. However, it is often the case that a specific label will be suitable for a number of panels, so even if the equipment you wish to label isn't in the list below it doesn't mean we won't have a label suitable. In this instance either measure the labelling area on your equipment and find a suitable label size, or please feel free to call us for advice.

Cable Labels

To find the correct cable label firstly measure the diameter of your cable and check which part will be suitable using the table in the brochure. Then, if there is a choice of label width, choose the one suitable for holding the amount of text you wish to print.

Simply select the manufacturer from the list below, and compatible parts information will be listed accordingly. The information you see is looked up in our live compatibility database, so the information is always as up-to-date as possible.

These are just typical examples to help you identify the correct job / part number. You can link up any layout with any part number. Ie you can divide any label up to accommodate any number of ports. All the layouts in the software can be configured to have a title bar above the port numbers.

This label part will need to be manually cut to fit the panel concerned. The print on the labels will align correctly with the panels but the physical label is too long and will need to be trimmed accordingly. This is an interim measure while we await manufacture of a correctly-sized part. Check back here regularly to see when new label sizes become available.
